Willis C. Silverthorn was a politician in Wisconsin.
Silverthorn was born on August 30, 1838 in Toronto, Ontario.[1] In 1865, he married Maggie Virginia Myers. They had three children before her passing in 1878. In 1879, he married Ida M. Single. They would have a son. Silverthorn died on October 7, 1916 in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Silverthorn was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1868 and 1874 before serving in the Wisconsin State Senate from 1875 to 1876.[2] In 1896, he ran for Governor of Wisconsin, losing to Edward Scofield. Later, Silverthorn was a judge of the Wisconsin Circuit Court from 1898 to 1908. He was a Democrat.
